Steve Goodier, CEO and Founder of CirculOil Ltd, tells us about the company’s product and why 100 percent collection and re-use of waste engine lubrication is so important for both environmental and sustainable solutions.
What don't most people realise about the company?
Our product offers benefits to the operator of any machine by reducing downtime during essential maintenance. However what people don’t know is that we enable the re-use of the waste oil (and plastic) in a unique manner. Today most oil cannot be reused, it is either burnt or disposed of irresponsibly, each method causing massive harm to the environment.
What are your best-selling products and why are they so popular?
We currently only have one product which is a real benefit, as the Fargo system can be used on most machines with an internal combustion engine.
How has the industry changed/evolved?
Sadly this area of the industry has not changed for decades, maintenance is slow, messy and expensive, it generates waste product that is difficult to get rid of, and is environmentally detrimental. The CirculOil system is the only patented system that addresses these issues. We would like to see this change.
What are the biggest factors affecting the industry today?
Cost and environmental issues are the largest issues as we see it, machines need to operate as efficiently as possible while reducing environmental impact.
What are you looking forward to at SALTEX this year?
We launched our product last year, and are looking forward to showing the progress that we have made in the last 12 months.
What products are you bringing to SALTEX – are there any launches happening?
We will be bringing a full system and new for 2022 is the ability to use it on most machines.
Is sustainability an issue for you and if so, what are you doing to address these requirements?
Sustainability is the core of our offer, most oil is not reused and we want to change this.
How would you describe SALTEX in 20 words?
SALTEX is the must see show for operators of ground keeping equipment in the UK.
