SALTEX 2024 is set to be a must-attend exhibition of the year, offering visitors an exclusive opportunity to see the unveiling of cutting-edge technology from some of the industry's leading brands.

From innovative irrigation solutions to eco-friendly weed management tools, this year's exhibition will showcase products that are shaping the future of grounds management.

Zasso Zap Weeder

In a world-first, Kersten will debut the Zasso ZAP Weeder, marking a breakthrough in eco-friendly weed management. This 100% battery-powered electric device is not only emission-free but also highly efficient, using electricity to heat and kill weeds down to their roots.

With its quiet operation, minimal vibration, and precise side-shift function, the ZAP Weeder is ideal for noise-sensitive areas and environmentally conscious groundskeepers. Attendees can visit Kersten at stand G075 to experience the future of weed management firsthand.

Upgraded TDR Rotary Mower

Another highlight of SALTEX 2024 will be the launch of Major Equipment Ltd's upgraded TDR Rotary Mower, designed for managing expansive green spaces such as parklands, sports pitches, and golf courses. This next-generation mower boasts enhanced durability, precision, and efficiency, making it an indispensable tool for both local authorities and private contractors.

Key upgrades include a fully galvanised body for superior corrosion resistance, 5mm blades for a cleaner cut, hydraulic brakes for added safety, and a heavy-duty driveline for reliable performance even in wet conditions. KAR UK’s Wireless Valve Link

Visitors will also get a first look at the revolutionary Wireless Valve Link from Hunter Industries, launching at the KAR UK stand (E053). This system simplifies irrigation by eliminating the need for traditional copper wire connections, providing a flexible and cost-efficient solution for complex landscapes. With wireless technology that can manage up to 54 valves without requiring new wiring, the Wireless Valve Link saves time and money while offering seamless integration with Hunter’s ICC2 and HCC controllers.

It’s the perfect irrigation system for sports fields, commercial landscapes, and residential areas alike. Visitors can learn more about this game-changing technology ahead of its UK availability in early 2025.

In addition to these exclusive product launches, many exhibitors have now revealed their product showcases ahead of SALTEX.

Leading machinery distributor, Henton & Chattell, will be unveiling its new product introductions for 2025, as well as highlighting the most popular lines across its portfolio. The new lineup from EGO Power+, which Henton & Chattell is the exclusive distributor of, will take centre stage.

Iseki UK & Ireland will showcase its comprehensive range of compact tractors, mowers, and electric vehicles across three areas at SALTEX, as the company continues to provide the turf industry with tailored machinery for every application. Stand D050 will feature the Iseki range of ride-on mowers and compact tractors, including the new TM 4270 Cab and TM 4230 ROPS models. Stand D041 will feature the 100% electric Addax MT15 fully customisable commercial utility vehicle.

Long regarded as the industry‑leader in leaf and debris collectors, Trilo promises to showcase the very best in versatile vacuum sweepers on stand K058. Visitors can expect to find the M3 from the Trilo Multipurpose range on display, alongside the range of shaft options which effortlessly transforms the 3m3 collector into a maintenance machine for all seasons.

The UK and Ireland distributor of the Ventrac, Price Turfcare Ltd, are returning to SALTEX with a larger stand this year. With more than 35 attachments for the Ventrac, this year Price Turfcare Ltd will be exhibiting three Ventrac 4520 compact tractor units along with the new Rock Grapple and loader attachments on stand B124.

A stop by the Kubota stand is always a must for visitors to SALTEX, and this year will be no different, with a vast array of industry‑leading compact tractors, RTV’s and mowing solutions taking centre stage on stand C070. A particular highlight promises to be the expanded Kubota zero‑turn range, with the new Z4‑541 on show in the UK for the very first time.

With the climatic challenges driving an ever-increasing requirement for regular aeration, GKB Machines will exhibit the Combislit which delivers fast and effective relief to depths of up to 15cm (6”) with minimal surface disruption. You can find them on stand H053.

DrainTalent return to SALTEX and will showcase their sustainable, circular soil management system. Their team will be on hand on stand F107 to discuss the benefits of balancing moisture content and how their award-winning system can contribute to high quality surfaces, capable of hosting more play with fewer cancellations.
