Bringing 30 years of expertise in sports turf management and a variety of relevant qualifications, Jonathan has specialised in delivering sports turf education and apprenticeship training at a land-based college for more than 20 years. 

Currently, his primary responsibility is to develop the Sports Turf Academy to enhance education, attract new talent through apprenticeships, and provide research and opportunities to support the professional growth of industry professionals and volunteers. In recent years, he has also led the development and quality assurance of apprenticeship programmes in turf management.
