Mike Chappell is a Level 5-educated, former Head Groundsman and Greenkeeper, who spent 15 years in the industry from the age of 14 – working on golf course, schools and grounds maintenance contracts.  

Mike moved into recruitment, and over the next 10 years he helped some of the biggest companies in the UK with their recruitment needs.   

Four years ago, he set up Chappell Enterprises UK and his dream of becoming the leading provider of recruitment services to the sports turf industry was realised. During this time Mike has worked with Premier League football clubs, European Tour golf courses, leading sportsturf contractors, and grounds maintenance firms – to provide recruitment insights and to help find both permanent and temporary staff members.
