Scott is is responsible for the management of playing surfaces at Watford FC’s Vicarage Road Stadium and the London Colney Training Centre. He also serves as the Lead Pitch Consultant for Italian Serie A club Udinese Calcio.

Scott has been widely praised for his work, winning the Premier League Grounds Team of the Year in 2017/2018, the EFL Championship Grounds Team of the Year in 2020/2021, and the Serie A Most Valuable Field award in 2021/2022.
