WHAT IS SALTEX?

For 79 years, SALTEX has been the cornerstone of grounds management innovation. It's not just an event, it's a dynamic hub where professionals cultivate knowledge, connect with industry leaders, and discover solutions to their most pressing challenges.

SALTEX is run by the Grounds Management Association (GMA). The GMA is the UK’s leading industry body for the sports turf and grounds care sector.

A not-for-profit membership organisation, the GMA promotes and protects the interests of the professionals and volunteers who make sport possible by keeping green spaces and playing surfaces safe, accessible, and sustainable across educational establishments, community facilities, and sports clubs at grassroots, amateur, and professional levels.

HOW DO I REGISTER TO ATTEND?

Registration is not open yet, but you can join the waiting list for SALTEX 2025 here.

DO I NEED TO PAY FOR PARKING?

Yes, parking is charged. Be prepared and book your parking up to 3 months ahead of SALTEX to take full advantage of the early bird pricing, saving you 30%! 

Early bird parking is £12.85 while on the day the fee will be £16.95 - save yourself some money and secure your discount parking here.

If you are a GMA Member, your parking is FREE.

IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE?

The NEC aims to be fully user-friendly for visitors with access needs. This is a quick guide to some of their facilities.

IS DISABLED PARKING AVAILABLE FOR BLUE BADGE HOLDERS?

Disabled parking will be inside Hall 16. If aid is needed from the car park to the exhibition halls, please contact the Organiser’s Office. The blue disabled badge will need to be displayed to secure parking in Hall 16.  

WILL THERE BE CLOAKROOM FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT SALTEX?

The cloakroom is found next to Hall 6 and Hall 7 main entrance. 

IS THERE A CASH POINT?

Yes, there are ATM machines on site. Please note: The NEC is now a cashless venue.

WHAT LOST PROPERTY FACILITIES WILL THERE BE AT SALTEX?

All lost property must be handed into the Organiser’s Office, found by the entrance to Hall 7. Please report any lost or stolen items to the organisers. Any items left at the end of the exhibition will be left with the NEC security.   

 IS SALTEX A PROFIT-MAKING VENTURE?

All profits generated by SALTEX are ploughed back into the grounds care industry, supporting delivery of the specialist training, education and membership services provided by the Grounds Management Association.

TICKET FAQs.

IS THE SHOW FREE TO ATTEND?

Yes, SALTEX is free to attend.

ARE SEMINARS FREE TO ATTEND?

Yes, all of our seminars are free to attend, and you can attend as many as you'd like. Our full seminar schedule for 2025 will be available closer to the event.

CAN I BRING CHILDREN?

We welcome children of any age as long as they are accompanied by somebody over the age of 18. Please note that all visitors will need to register via the normal registration process.

IS MY REGISTRATION SHOW DATE SPECIFIC?

Registration for SALTEX is non-date specific. Your entry badge allows you to attend both days.

HOW CAN I FIND MY WAY AROUND THE SHOW?

We will have our SALTEX Showguide and 'you are here' boards available in the entrances to help direct you around the event.

OTHER FAQs.

WILL SHOW PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY BE TAKEN DURING THE SHOW?

The purchase of a ticket signifies acceptance that as members of the audience, ticket holders may be filmed, sound recorded and/or photographed for broadcast and/or future publicity.

WHAT IS THE CODE OF CONDUCT FOR ATTENDING THE EVENT?

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINK AT THE SHOW?

Yes, The NEC has on-site restaurants located in Hall 6, 7 and 8 providing a wide selection of refreshing drinks, hot meals, deli sandwiches, salads, and cakes.
